Justin Romeo is currently the Director of Special Projects in the New York City Department of Transportation Planning and Management Division. Justin was born and raised in Chicago and is passionate about contributing to and enhancing the south side community. He is a product of the Chicago Public School system and has been engaged in the Bronzeville community his entire life through churches, community groups, and as a community member. In his free time, Justin tutors and mentors’ youth and traveling. He also enjoys engaging in the rich cultural history of the south side of Chicago through long standing Chicago events such as the African Festival of the Arts, and the Bud Billiken Parade. Justin has been a member of the ODC Board since 2010 and currently serves as an ODC member at large. From New York City he continues to serve because he is dedicated to making a positive impact in the Bronzeville community and greater Chicago area.
