Arnold Romeo

Arnold Romeo is an attorney in private practice. He previously worked in Human Relations with diverse, disparate minority communities in Chicago. His work with African, Arab, Asian, and Latin descendent communities involved programs and initiatives to improve race relations among these communities and the larger populations of Chicago. Reduction in discrimination suffered by these community members was the primary goal. He also practiced extensive mediation of community tensions. An ordained deacon at Olivet Baptist Church, he is active in several ministries. He has been a member of the Olivet Development Corporation for several years. Arnold was born on the island of Trinidad in the West Indies. Immigrating to the United States at the age of 16, he earned a BS degree in management and a Juris Doctor. He is a certified mediator with the Center for Conflict Resolution.
